Flatron W2361v Driver Windows 7 how to#
Thread Objective C: Discuss! Did any of this stuff help you? Do you have these issues without Aero/geforce/monitor refresh rates even being a factor? Were you able to solve them some other way? Did the workarounds I wrote not help at all and as a consequence ruin your entire day? Post about it here and maybe we can narrow down just what's wrong and how to trigger/fix it a little more. Thread Objective B: I have seen the devs state that they're having trouble replicating the stutter/tearing/vsync issues- both from my experiences and what I've read: my setup seems to be the way to do it. Thread Objective A: Maybe this thread will help a few folks in my situation. (if you do, and have it set up as a second monitor, but find using Big Picture or switching your primary monitor over and back for gaming to be real cumbersome- this monitor switch hotkey utility helps out big time: ) I realise that this is of lacking as an ultimate solution- you've got to have a monitor capable of doing 75hz. Using a 75hz with aero disabled fixed all issues: no stutter, no tearing, just perfect and smooth the whole way. It is very, very minor with this configuration if it is there at all.) Using a 75hz monitor with aero enabled was pretty smooth with much more minute stutter/choppyness (or no choppiness and I'm just imagining it. At 60hz, my other monitor offered no change. I wasn't able to find a fix for the screen tearing untill I hooked up another monitor- one that was able to use both 60hz and 75hz instead of my usual monitor's 60hz only. I even saw some suggested fixes out there, but none seem to work with geforce cards.

It's worth noting that I've read about this exact aero on-stutter aero off-tearing for windows 7 for other games and programs, too.

But this wasn't an issue untill Aero was disabled, so it can't be a case of the game's vsync just not working. This seems to be a common complaint here: that the vsync in the game is broken and not even forcing it through your vid card vsync options helps. No combination of settings there did anything. On screen tearing: I again went through all nvidia control panel options, especially the ones dealing with vsync. (Of note- disabling and reenabling aero can be done via a shortcut. It fixed the stuttering issue, however, it introduced the screen tearing one. Then, I updated graphics drivers/.net framework/disabled antivirus/all the usual culprits for weirdness.

No ammount of fiddling with the nvidia control panel helped- I tried all options both globally and program specific. It seemed to only affect the background, but even so it was constant and awful. Starting off, I had the micro stuttering issue. There has yet to be a definitive answer on how to deal with these two problems, but here's my journey through dealing with it:

I am using both of these.įor completenesses sake, I'm using a geforce 560ti, an amd phenom II X6, 8 gigs of ram, and the 64 bit version of windows 7.

The issues are irrespective of your PC specs, and though I could be wrong about this, they seem to be related to both the Geforce line of graphics cards, and windows 7. I've seen many threads here about the game having a frequent micro stutter OR the game having some screen tearing issues - pretty ruinous stuff for a game all about the smooth feels.
